Since I arrived at Chez Ignace early I had time to use the auberge kayak for a leisurely hour on the water before dinner. The shoreline of Lac Nominingue is dotted with homes with small docks like this one. I met the owners of one of the homes nearby who were going in the opposite direction in their kayaks and we chatted for a while before paddling away.
