Chute 9e is 16 kilometers from Girardville on the Au Fil des Rivieres trail. There are several places on the trail where Riviere Mistassini can be viewed, but this one is the best. The sound of the rapids is the only thing that you can hear. This site is about a kilometer off of the main trail.
