St. Lucia Beach Person

Photo

The beach where we were swimming was made more pristine, I’m sure, by this man. He was not strictly a beachcomber. A beachcomber would be scrounging items of value for sale. Instead, his wheel barrow is full of seaweed. The implication is that life is so easy in the Caribbean that a person can make a living this way. He is swarthy and not starving so it seems that he’s made a choice although there are probably few choices on St. Lucia.
